Handling Methods

PRECAUTION
Usually, the Li-ion polymer battery is packed in a soft package.
To ensure its best performance, it's very important to carefully handle it according to the following instructions:

●Cells
(1) Avoid short circuit of the cells.
(2) Don't fall, hit, and bend the battery body.
(3) Don't bend or fold the tabs and sealing edge.
(4) Don't strike the battery with any sharp edge parts .
(5) Avoid direct soldering onto the battery body.

● Pack
(1) The pack should be passed charge-discharge and short circuit tests.
(2) The measured impedance from soft pack (cell+PCM) should be over the measured impedance of the cell.

● PCM Design
(1) The overcharge threshold voltage should not exceed 4.2V+1%
(2) The over-discharge threshold voltage should not be lower than 2.5V.
(3) The PCM should have over-current (5~6C) protection function built inside .

● Operation
(1) Soldering temperature should not exceed 350 ℃ .
(2) Soldering time should not be longer than 5 seconds.

● Pack and Cells
(1) Avoid short circuit of the cells.
(2) Don't fall, hit, and bend the battery body.
(3) Don't bend or fold the tabs and sealing edge.
(4) Don't strike the battery with any sharp edge parts .

● Temperature Range of Operation
(1) Standard Charge -10 ℃ to 55 ℃
(2) Discharge -10 ℃ to 55 ℃

● Temperature Range of Storage
(1)For short period (less than 1 month),0 ℃ to 45 ℃
(2)For long period (less than 6 months),0 ℃ to 30 ℃
